Cats On Trees au Trianon

Les Cats On Trees seront à l’affiche de la salle Le Trianon à Paris pour deux soirs consécutifs, les 6 et 7 Novembre. Pour cette occasion, il est grand temps pour les fans de réviser ses classiques en réécoutant l’album éponyme du groupe. Les toulousains Nina Goern et Yohan Hennequin ne manqueront pas de faire de ces deux soirées, deux shows exceptionnels.

Le duo Cats On Trees interprète tour à tour ses tubes, rodés depuis quelques mois. Cependant, le public a toujours droit à de la spontanéité dès qu’il s’agit d’interagir avec le public: en présentant les morceaux et en expliquant leur signification. Le public a eu le droit à des fameuses « ninades« : sur Flowers, Nina a eu un trou de mémoire l’empêchant à plusieurs reprises de continuer le morceau. Mais qu’importe, le public trouve dans ces petites erreurs, des moments de complicité, de rire et de partage. Le groupe avait travaillé sur de nouveaux arrangements entre certaines chansons faisant ainsi planer leurs mélodies et voix dans la salle du Trianon.

Depuis le début, le morceau Wichita n’a cessé de changer. D’abord, les fans ont connu la version studio, puis début septembre, ils la jouaient en version électro. Nina était alors debout, jouant sur un mini piano, au centre de la scène. Au Trianon, c’est une Nina seule (sans son piano) que nous avons retrouvé… avec ses pas de danse pour entraîner le public. Enfin, les nouvelles chansons qui n’étaient pas sur le premier album ont trouvé leur place parmi les fans: Lion, Les Bateaux ou encore Ouh Ouh.

Première partie des Cats On Trees au Trianon

Que nous réservent les Cats On Trees en première partie ? Le jeudi 6 Novembre, c’est la nouvelle recrue du label Tôt Ou Tard (même label que les Cats), Vianney, qui viendra chauffer le public avec ses textes et sa guitare. On vous conseille d’écouter « Je Te Déteste » et « Pas Là » pour avoir une idée de ce qui vous attend.

Pour le vendredi 7 Novembre, c’est au tour de Uniform Motion de captiver les fans parisiens du duo.

Plus tôt cette année, au mois de mai, les Cats On Trees étaient en concert à La Cigale et c’était complet ! En surprise, le groupe avait interprété une nouvelle chanson et avait surpris les fans en conviant… Maxime Nucci alias Yodélice sur scène !
