Cats On Trees au Printemps de Bourges

En 2010, les Cats On Trees étaient la « Découverte du Printemps de Bourges« , lauréats choisis par des professionnels. Aujourd’hui, quatre ans plus tard et un album à succès dans les bacs, les Cats On Trees faisaient leur grand retour sur la scène du Printemps de Bourges. Cette fois-ci, pas de professionnels à convaincre mais des fans venus les applaudir au Palais d’Auron dès 20 heures. Programmés le même soir avec Miossec et Yodélice, Nina et Yohan ont fait chanter les 2.500 personnes présentes sur environ 8 titres. Pour la setlist, on retrouve : You Win, Burn, Jimmy, TikiBoy, Sirens Call, Mad World, Woo Woo pour finir avec Wichita. Les enchainements sont bien rodés : on alterne entre musiques rythmées et titres plus mélancoliques, qui subliment les talents d’artistes du duo. On retrouve sur scène les fameux triangles présents sur la pochette de l’album : en fonction de la musique, ils s’allument et changent de couleur pour créer une atmosphère. Entre deux chansons, Nina s’adresse au public pour cerner l’ambiance de la salle, avec un public conquit! Nina apprend au public de Bourges le refrain de leur nouvelle chanson Woo Woo (Woo Woo, Just carry a soul into your heart, Woo Woo, Just Let’s let them go) qui sera donc reprise en chœur. A la fin de leur prestation, le public est complètement séduit par ce duo aussi talentueux que généreux.
