Cats On Trees à La Cigale

Le duo Cats On Trees faisait sa 1ere date parisienne de cette nouvelle tournée 2018 ce mercredi 16 mai. Le concert tant attendu dans la célèbre salle de La Cigale affichait complet. Pour cette soirée, la première partie (dès 20h) était assurée par la musicienne et chanteuse Clou pour une série de 5 chansons. Puis, vers 21h, c’est au tour des Cats On Trees de monter sur scène et de dévoiler leur nouvelle scénographie.

Sur scène: le duo se tient sur un plateau rond (comme dans le clip Keep On Dancing) orné de lumières. Beaucoup plus proches que sur la tournée précédente, Nina et Yohan sont côtes à côtes. On peut même voir Nina jouer quelques notes sur la batterie avec Yohan sur certains interludes/morceaux mais nous n’en dirons pas plus. Nina et Yohan sont accompagnés de 3 filles qui jouent plusieurs instruments (violons, violoncelle, piano, tambour…) et donnent de la voix. On retrouve Charlotte (déjà présente sur la 1ère tournée).

A savoir:

  1. Les Cats On Trees étaient très heureux de pouvoir jouer à La Cigale devant son public parisien venu nombreux.
  2. Ils ont dédié une chanson « Elie » à une personne de leur label qui leur est chère. Cette personne prend extrêmement soin des autres et ils souhaitent qu’elle en fasse de même pour elle. Une belle attention et un témoignage d’amour qui n’a, sans aucun doute, du émouvoir « Elie » puisqu’elle était présente dans la salle en découvrant ce morceau.
  3. Pour le morceau « Blue« , les fans avaient prévu une surprise (on vous raconte tout plus bas).
  4. Lors du rappel, Nina et Yohan se sont mêlés au public, près de la régie son, pour interpréter quelques titres.
  5. Les médias parisiens, leur label Tôt Ou Tard, Pierre Rougean ou encore Vianney faisaient partis des spectateurs. Une bien belle soirée 🙂

Surprise sur « Blue »

Pour cette date parisienne mythique, CatsOnTreesFans et les plus fidèles fans se sont réunis afin de créer une petite surprise pour le duo toulousain. Objectif : lors de la chanson « Blue », lever les bracelets fluo et cœurs de couleur bleu. Pour cela, avec la complicité de Zouave, nous avons pu placer les coeurs et bracelets sur les fauteuils, en balcon, quelques heures avant le concert. Puis, à l’ouverture, nous avons pu distribuer à pas moins de 1000 personnes les éléments pour que la surprise soit réussie.

Le public a su garder le secret jusqu’à la fameuse chanson. La surprise était totale : Nina n’a pas pu cacher son émotion. C’etait un chouette moment.
